Last year we launched a new model to give institutions access to the entirety of our journal archive and primary sources. You no longer have to pick and choose which journal collections to subscribe to, because via this model, our entire journal library + primary collections are available as one single collection. If you’re worried about cost, we have priced the content in such a way that you see modest increases year over year, while you have access to the full collection year-round. Many members of your consortium have taken advantage of this offer, and if you would like to know more, please reach out to us and we will walk you through the details. Webinar Schedule: We will hold 3 informational sessions providing an overview of the Full Archive Model: Sep 24, 2024 8:30 AM Eastern Time Registration link
We have over 130,000+ e-books from over 250 publishers available via several models of purchase for you to grow your ebook collection. All JSTOR ebooks are DRM free, allowing for unlimited concurrent use and chapter downloads. Subject Collections: If you’re looking to spend end of year funds on ebooks, we offer many subject packages; see list of available Subject Ebook Collections. The most recent subject collection available now for purchase aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Goals. If you’re looking for ebook content mapped to teaching areas that align with these goals, we can email you a title list and quote. We can also customize an ebook subject package for you to complement your journal holdings, just email us and let us know the subject categories that are of interest to you. Evidence Based Acquisition: Over 70K+ titles are available via this purchase model year-round to your faculty and students. Through this buying model you slowly build your ebook collection over time while having access to a large pool of books with unlimited access all year. 75% of your annual subscription fee converts to ownership at the end of the subscription year based on usage data. Learn more about the model and the title list here. Path2Open Pilot Program: In support of making ebook content in the humanities open, we’ve launched a 3-year program to make 1000 books open on the JSTOR platform covering a breadth of subject areas in social science and humanities. Over 40+ university presses have joined globally and through the program 300 titles are published each year. Here is more information on how the model works alongside title lists. If you are an institution who prioritizes open access in collection development, have a look and consider subscribing to this model. Libraries can participate in the pilot program by paying the 3-year fee upfront or as a 3 year subscription. We’re happy to meet with you and go over the details of the program. Webinar Schedule: We will hold three informational sessions covering ebook purchase models.
