PhDr. Jan Černý has been appointed new director of CzechELib. The appointment is effective 1 January 2018. Mr. Černý succeeded Ing. Eva Dibuszová, Ph.D., one of the project founders and its temporary director, who will continue her work for CzechELib in the position of project consultant.

Since 2014 Mr. Černý has served as a manager of MKSH, city contributory organization providing comprehensive services in the field of librarianship, education and media. He also carries out research activities for solutions of business information needs, works with electronic information resources in the field of science and research and focuses on development of information literacy.

Jan Černý graduated from the Institute of Information Studies and Librarianship and is finishing postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in Prague. He focuses mainly on the field of Competitive Technical Intelligence.
