Representatives of Taylor & Francis Publishing have apologized for the hold-up with the signing of the license contract and for confusion during negotiations, and as a goodwill gesture they have offered 100 e-book titles for Taylor & Francis consortium under CzechELib for free.
Representatives of Taylor & Francis Publishing have apologized for the hold-up with the signing of the license agreement and for confusion during negotiations and as a goodwill gesture they have offered 100 e-book titles for Taylor & Francis consortium under CzechELib for free. These titles will be a part of the final selection within the consortial e-book purchase, selected by NTK.
Titles for permanent purchase will be chosen on the basis of usage statistics with a per institution limit, which means that the most used titles, based on FTE, within each institution will be picked. The statistical analysis and the selection will be done by the office of electronic information sources by the National Library of Technology. Lists of chosen titles will be available in the first quarter of 2019.

The License agreement (Albertina_III_SLA) that the NTK signed in October with the exclusive representative of Taylor & Francis Publishing, Albertina icome Praha s.r.o. company, provides the members of the consortium with access to following sources:
Taylor & Francis Publishing has refused an agreement for term longer than three years, therefore there will have to be a new tender for another term.
