Free and unlimited Open Access (hereinafter “OA”) publishing for corresponding authors from institutions that are members of the CzechELib consortium:
Unlimited publishing in 2023-2025 is made possible thanks to the kind support (financial and negotiating) of the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
Eligible journals: hybrid titles, from approx. mid-April 2023 also pure OA titles (i.e. ACS Omega or Au journals) are included
Publication type: Tokens can be used for publication in journals, but cannot be used for eBooks. Articles that are additions or corrections or editorials are also not eligible.
Contract duration: 1 January 2023 - 31 December 2025
How does an author publish an Open Access article?
When submitting a manuscript, the author chooses his/her institution. We strongly recommend the use of an institutional e-mail address (serves for NTK/CzechELib at a later stage to check author eligibility).
Upon acceptance, the author is informed in the Journal Publishing Agreement Assistant that his/her institution is party to an agreement with the ACS to publish in Open Access mode. Here the author selects “Yes, I wish to publish open access as per the agreement” (if he/she wishes to publish in Open Access mode).
